Welcome to Taneelo. By using our website and purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to protect both you (the Customer) and us (Taneelo) in accordance with the laws of South Africa.

1. The Agreement

An agreement of sale only comes into effect if and when you make a payment and Taneelo accepts your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to, product availability, errors in description or price, or suspicion of fraud.

2. Pricing and Payments

• All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR).
• While we strive for 100% accuracy, errors in pricing may occur. If we discover an error, we will contact you to give you the option of reconfirming the order at the correct price or cancelling it.
• Payments are processed via secure third-party gateways (e.g., PayFast/Ozow). Taneelo does not store your credit card details.

3. Delivery and Shipping

We deliver nationwide across South Africa via our courier partners. While we aim for "Revolutionised" speed, delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Taneelo is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, strikes, or service disruptions).

4. Product Use and Warranty

• Electronics: Many electronics carry a manufacturer’s warranty. Please retain your original packaging and invoice for warranty claims.
• Kitchen Accessories: For hygiene reasons, certain kitchen products cannot be returned once the original seal or packaging is opened, unless the item is defective.

5. Hygiene and Security Seals

To ensure the health and safety of our customers and the integrity of our high-end electronics, Taneelo utilizes security and hygiene seals on specific products.

• Kitchen Accessories: Any item intended for food preparation (e.g., blenders, air fryers, utensils) cannot be returned once the internal protective plastic or hygiene seal has been broken, due to health and safety regulations.
• Personal Electronics: Items such as in-ear headphones or wearable tech cannot be returned once the factory seal is tampered with, for hygiene reasons.
• Software & Consumables: Any product with a digital activation key or consumable component (like printer ink) is non-returnable once the seal is broken.

By breaking the seal, you acknowledge that the item is no longer in a "re-sellable" condition as "New" and may only be returned if it is proven to be technically defective.

6. Returns and Refunds

Our returns policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA). You are entitled to a 7-day "cooling-off" period for most goods purchased online, provided they are in their original, unopened packaging.

7. Limitation of Liability

Taneelo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or the purchase of our products. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the item in question.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including the Taneelo logo, designs, text, and graphics, is the property of Taneelo and is protected by South African and international copyright laws.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You consent to the jurisdiction of the South African courts for any dispute resolution.
